Her work in recent years has focused on conservation approaches that integrate social equity, prioritize the perspectives and knowledge of local communities, and are grounded in research and science.
As Executive Director of ACF, she leads initiatives that strengthen community-led conservation through research, education, and collaboration. Her work bridges science and local knowledge, fostering meaningful partnerships between island communities and conservation practitioners.
